For the wine , I used an excellent Merlot. I made this using lobster stock. I followed the recipe exactly the same way, but I used milk that was 2. I added a variety of mushrooms simply because they were at a half price. This is a wonderful soup. I’ll be making this my go to’ soup for mushrooms. As with other reviewers, I pureed only half of the soup and was pleased with the result. Next time , I’ll include a little more broth from the chicken .
